Update

I haven't seen the nurse today yet. But respiratory therapist has been in a few times. He has been breathing on his own since 830 this morning. He went 12 hours yesterday and he told her he wasn't tired yet. She thinks he is just borderline to be off of it around the clock!!

He finally communicated with me. I asked him if he wanted the light off and he shook his head no, and he nodded when I asked if he wanted CNN on.
