Rock on!!

Dad has been off the ventilator since yesterday at 730 am!!!! He is up sitting in a chair and his vitals are all great!!

He has a bit of fluid on him which I noticed when I was there, Martha addressed it with the doctor and he is going to check into getting him a little bit of a diuretic. They gave him eye drops for his eyes and his eye is getting better. Martha says there is a definate change in him as to when he is awake and not awake. She said he evern gave her the "don't go" look last night like he used to do at Mercy Capital.

They will keep him off the vent until he tires, but I would think at this point, we are vent free forever!!! Keep your fingers crossed!!
